So my nine-hour exam is coming up. Step 2 Clinical Knowledge. I hope I'm ready. But I still have a week to go before I sleep. (*winks*)
It kind of annoys me that these tests get longer and longer. Step 1 = 8 hours. Step 2 CS = 8.5 hours. Step 2 CK = 9 hours. Step 3 = 2 days. I mean, really. What's with that.
It's time to start filling out by Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) data. I am not quite sure who to ask for recommendations yet. I'll figure that out...really.
I've volunteered to interview medical students. I remember when I interviewed, a fourth year student from UCA was there. At the time, I was more concerned about my Rhodes interview, so I really wasn't even overly nervous for my med school interview. I've had pretty good luck with interviews in the past (with the notable exception of the Rhodes pimping session). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my other interviews will go well.
I haven't been seeing patients lately, and though I could think of plenty that I haven't written about, I really need to go study. But I do want to point out a new link on my sidebar: John Wilkins Woodturning. That's my dad's site we created to display his woodturning. Go check out his work, it's pretty awesome. I have one of his beautiful natural-edge bowls. I'm very special. *grins*

Good luck with the studying. At least there is no 'Step 4: Week and Half'. Nice looking wood-turning site too.
Good luck on the test. I'm still curious as to where you and Justin end up for residency. Also, you father's woodwork looks very nice.
Boo on tests, but hopefully you'll do well. I mean I know you'll do well but I wish you luck anyway.
Your dad's site is spiffy.
Or you could always take my dream as a premonition and drop out. You could move to TX and go to the Buffy sing-along.
We could always move to Moldova where you can become a surgeon after watching how it is done on slides. :)
